HSI First Aid | CPR AED reflects the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), and it conforms with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the annual Guidelines Update.
Yes. HSI is a nationally accredited organization of the Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). CAPCE is the national accrediting body for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) continuing education classes and class providers. CAPCE accreditation requires an evidence-based peer-review process for continuing education programs that is comparable to those of all healthcare accreditors.
The intended audience consists of individuals who are neither healthcare providers nor professional rescuers, but who desire, or are required for their occupation, to be trained and certified in adult first aid and/or CPR AED for adults, children, or infants.
